unlimited internet access that fully supports
Internet services and includes e-mail and an
Internet browsing facility 24 hours,7 days a

This connection is provided by Telkom at a
fixed rate. This type of connection comes in
analog(56K) or ISDN.

terminate on a Cyclades board
which is connected to a FreeBSD
server that acts as a router for
 
HDSL is also possible over the analogue
leased-line circuits where one can get
192Kbit/s compared to 33.6Kbit/s.
Remember you get charged according to
how many Kbit/s is being utilized (i.e. if you
use 192Kbit/s you get billed for 192Kbit/s).

powered network. The Martis and Diginet
lines connect to powerful Cisco 2600, 3600

service is replacing the old Diginet service,
where the Diginet NTU's are being replaced
with the Martis STU's. A Cisco 1601 router is
required for the client side and can either be
these leased-lines. Two leased-line
modems are required for analogue
leased-lines. Client side we prefer
setting up the analogue leased-line
onto a FreeBSD server since it is
